Davenport Hotel & The Catholic Cathedral "Out Lady of Lordes" & Public Library

On the third day of May term, we met at the Davenport Hotel. The Davenport Hotel is historic and
luxurious. As you see in the pictures, the lobby reminds of European palace. There were lots of huge ballrooms and pictures of historical figures. On the second floor, we also found the picture of Marie who was the queen of Romania.

You can see fish swimming in the fountain.

We went to the cathedral after we went to Spokane Public library. But unfortunately, it was closed so we couldn't go in. The cathedral was originally a carpenter's shop but Joseph Cataldo converted it into the church. This was the first Catholic church in the Spokane Township.
